PhD Defense of Nils
On Thursday (08.12.2022), Nils Boysen successfully defended his PhD thesis. Based on his excellent presentation on new precursors for spatial ALD and CVD of metals, followed by the oral exam, Nils could successfully convince the examination team of Prof. Thomas Riedl (University of Wuppertal), Prof. Maarit Karppinen (Aalto University, Finland) and Prof. Anjana Devi (RUB). The exam was chaired by Prof. Nils Metzler-Nolte (RUB). The committee decided to award Nils a Distinction for his PhD. Congrats from all your IMC team members for this great achievement! This is the first defense held in person after a period of two years in our group.
