VIP Prof. Erwin Kessels at RUB
Prof. Erwin Kessels who is the Chair of Plasma and Materials Processing (PMP) group at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) has been recently appointed as a Visiting International Professor (VIP) at the Ruhr University Bochum within the framework of the RUB Research School activities. The Inorganic Materials Chemistry (IMC) group is hosting him and the doctoral and master students from IMC will interact closely with Erwin in the research field of ALD.Recently, Erwin received the prestigious ALD Innovator Award-2019. We are honored to have him as an expert guide for our research activities which will further strengthen our research ties TU/e that we started in 2007.. He will deliver lectures and hold workshops for the students during his tenure as VIP and the students from the Chemistry, Physics and Engineering faculties can benefit from his knowledge on plasma chemistry and materials.
